Speaking of loved ones, I was lucky that I got a chance to visit this city with my boyfriend. I heard that Bruges is not only gorgeous, but some people considered Bruges as a truly romantic city. So yeah, I told my boyfriend "let's go!" and he has no reason to say no. The idea of sitting together on a bench with him at beautiful Minnewaterpark, enjoying the scenery of Lake of Love, taking a boat trip, having a romantic evening walk was filling my head. Yes, it all happened and indeed romantic!

A visit to Bruges isn't complete without a boat trip on its canals. Bruges has numerous canals, bridges and the river. Boat trips take about 30 minutes and you will get a chance to see some beautiful places and scenery that you can only see by boat.

The water flows into places and landmarks that can't be accesed by the street. The tour guides are friendly and can speak miltiple languages. They will give you some information about the places and local history.

As I remember, this boat trip is a good value for money. The boats are safe, comfortable, and the guides are very knowledgable. it cost 8 euro for an adult to take this boat trip.

You might already know that Bruges has got the best beer and chocolate in the world, but did you know about the fries? and waffels? I'm a muslim so beer wasn't my choice but I got a chance to eat waffles and frites there. Yes, it was delicious! Potato chips is one of Belgium National's Dishes. The best places to try cheap but good fries is in the city center where you can find many frites carts. And the best to eat waffles are from street vendors. They have so many choices of toppings and the waffles are large and crispy. Best to be eaten warm.
