Dear fellow traveler, are you planning to visit The Hague? As an expat who live here for quite a long time, I can reccomend you 5 interesting places in this city for you to visit. Go check it out! ;)



1. Madurodam


Madurodam is a miniature park and tourist attraction in the Scheveningen district of The Hague. It's home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch historical cities, landmarks and large development. Madurodam is easy to reach by public transport or by car. It's around 45 minutes from Amsterdam and 25 minutes from Rotterdam.

2. Binnenhof

The Binnenhof is a complex of buildings in the city centre of The Hague and is the oldest House of Parliament in the world that still in use. Built in the 13th century, the Gothic castle originally functioned as a residence of the counts of The Netherlands and became the political centre of the Dutch Republic in 1584. You can also find The Hovfijver lake next to it.

3. Scheveningen Beach Resort

For a good reason, The Hague beach resort of Scheveningen is really popular in The Netherlands. You can enjoy the beach, sea, shops, museums, nature, cozy restaurants, attractions, event and festivals during all four seasons. 

4. De Haagse Markt

De Haagse Markt (The Hague Market) is one of the largest multicultural markets in Europe. From Antiques, modern, unique, inexpensive, you can find all that in this market. De Haagse markt is known for its large range of exotic products and it does have a diverse range from fresh vegetables, fish, fruit, and meat to herbs, also women's, men's, children's clothing to electronics.

5. Mauritshuis

If you're interested in museums and paintings, The Mauritshuis is home to the very best of Dutch Golden Age painting. This museum is located in the heart of The Hague, right next to the government centre, Here you can find masterpieces such as Vermeer's Girl with a pearl earring and The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes

Singapore Botanic Gardens is the epicenter of this natural, flower splendor. This Gardens is 158 years old. The visitors will amazed by the beauty of floral grounds and you will need for sure some hours because there just so much to see. 3. Universal Studios

This theme park is located Sentosa Island. It features 24 rides, shows and attraction in seven themed zones. Here you can experience Southeast Asia's first Hollywood theme park, perfect for both families and thrill seekers.

4. Singapore Zoo

Singapore zoo is a wildlife park where animals roam freely in their natural habitats. Here you can get up close to some animals. And this zoo is fantastic destintion for family outings. Here the children can do some fun activities such as feeding rabbits, petting goat and go on a pony ride. You can also stroll through Dinosaur Valley and came face to face with over 20 dinosaurs (animatronic).

5. Orchard Road

Orchard road is a whole street which is almost enitrely dedicated to shopping. If you're looking for a bit of retail therapy in Singapore, this is the best place to be. The road is around 2 kilometers long and there are malls and boutiques you can visit.

6. Little India

Try to explore Little India where you can find traditional eateries, Hindu temples, spice shops, flower gerland and more. This place shows off the best of Singapore's Indian community and one of most vibrant districts. Here you can also fill your tummy with Indian food such as tandoori dishes, roti pirata and pulled tea.

Bruges, Old yet Beautiful

Dear fellow traveler, I'm pretty sure that this city is obviously in your destination list. Bruges, the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders, Belgium, definitely will capture your heart.

If you're planning to visit Belgium for a short time only, gorgeous Bruges should be your number one stop. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, it is sometimes reffered to as The Venice of The North. Anyone strolling the narrow streets or joining the boat trip on the canals will definitely amazed by its beauty. You will also enjoy beautiful architechture that attracts millions visitors every year. The picture below was taken near the hotel where I stayed for a night in Bruges. As you can see, you will not get bored having a morning or evening walk here with your loved ones.

Speaking of loved ones, I was lucky that I got a chance to visit this city with my boyfriend. I heard that Bruges is not only gorgeous, but some people considered Bruges as a truly romantic city. So yeah, I told my boyfriend "let's go!" and he has no reason to say no. The idea of sitting together on a bench with him at beautiful Minnewaterpark, enjoying the scenery of Lake of Love, taking a boat trip, having a romantic evening walk was filling my head. Yes, it all happened and indeed romantic!

A visit to Bruges isn't complete without a boat trip on its canals. Bruges has numerous canals, bridges and the river. Boat trips take about 30 minutes and you will get a chance to see some beautiful places and scenery that you can only see by boat. 

The water flows into places and landmarks that can't be accesed by the street. The tour guides are friendly and can speak miltiple languages. They will give you some information about the places and local history. 









As I remember, this boat trip is a good value for money. The boats are safe, comfortable, and the guides are very knowledgable. it cost 8 euro for an adult to take this boat trip.

If you want to have a breakfast or lunch, you can consider to go to the Markt which located in the very heart of the city. There are many cafes and the best thing to do is to sit there enjoying your food and drinks while enjoying the historic splendour around.

You might already know that Bruges has got the best beer and chocolate in the world, but did you know about the fries? and waffels? I'm a muslim so beer wasn't my choice but I got a chance to eat waffles and frites there. Yes, it was delicious! Potato chips is one of Belgium National's Dishes. The best places to try cheap but good fries is in the city center where you can find many frites carts. And the best to eat waffles are from street vendors. They have so many choices of toppings and the waffles are large and crispy. Best to be eaten warm.

Bruges is a good choice for beer lovers and Belgian are very proud of their beer. Here you can find the best beer tourism and experience Bruges beer culture such as beer walk and brewery trips. 


In conclusion, don't think twice to visit Bruges. This city may old but it has so many to offer. From beautiful architechture, interesting history, good food and drinks, and so many more you will find out there by yourself.

1. Erawan Waterfall

Erawan Waterfall is located in Kanchanburi Province, Thailand, precisely at Erawan National Park. What's interesting about this waterfall is because it has seven levels of waterfall. The water is blue and filled with fishes. 

2. Klong Plu Waterfall

Klong Plu Waterfall is an interesting waterfalls. This waterfall can be reached by walking a little to get there. Well, you have to walk through the dense rainforest, right next to the flowing mountain stream. Swimming or just bathing are activities that you can do here. This waterfall is one of the best things in Koh Chang.

3. Khlong Chao Waterfall

Klong Chao Waterfall flows throughout the year and offers a nice swimming spot. The waterfall is easy to reach by motorbike, bicycle, taxi or even by foot. Just follow the signs or rent a kayak and paddle up the Klong Jao River

4. Khun Korn Waterfall

Khoon Korn waterfall Botanical Garden is located in the area of Tambon Mae Korn and Tambon Huay Chompoo which falls within the left side of Pa Mae Kok National Forest Reserves. At an impressive 70 metres, Khun Korn waterfall is by far the talles waterfall in Chiang Rai.

5. Khlong Yai Kee Watefall

This waterfall is located in The North West of Koh Kood and offers a nice spot for swimming and relaxing in nature. To get there, just follow the signs and road that leads to Soneva Kiri, Bann Makok or Captain Hook resort. The best time to visit this waterfall is from August till January. Keep in mind that there are no shops around.

3 Rare Animals That Can be Found in Indonesia

Dear fellow traveler, these are 3 rare animals that can be found in Indonesia and you probably didn't know that they exist. Go check it out! ;)

1. Orchid Mantis

As we can see, the shape is very beautiful, a combination of pink and white, it resembles orchid flowers. This creature was originally from Sumatra but also found in Malaysia. Orchid mantis is only 3 cm long, half of the female which is 6 cm. Main meals of Orchid Mantis are flies and other insects. Unfortunately this creature is getting hard to find because of its small size and its existence that become rare. Collectors likes to collect this type of locust because its beautiful. 



2. Wondiwoi Tree Kangaroo

Wondiwoi tree kangaroos are endemic animal that found only on the Papua Island. This kangaroo habitat is estimated in mountainous forest area with an altitude of about 1600 mdpl. These animal do a lot of activities on the tree. It favorite foods are leaves and fruit, but they also eat seeds, flowers, sap, birds, and eggs. This Kangaroo is rare and endangered. Their exact population is never known.

3. Jalak Bali

As the name implies, this rare bird only lives in Bali. Jalak Bali is one of Indonesia's endemic bird species, which has elegant white feathers, and its beautiful chirping sounds. The size of this bird is about 25 cm long. This bird is protected in captivity of Nusa Penida and West Bali National Park. Male and female Jalak Bali have the same chirping ability. Sometimes they also nod their head along with its long crest.

Dear fellow traveler, one of my favourite things to do while visiting a city is to see the waterfall, if any. I originally come from Indonesia where there are so many beautiful watterfalls in this country. So, if you guys are planning to visit Indonesia, here are 4 most famous waterfalls Indonesia. Check it out! ;)

1. Sendang Gile Waterfall, Lombok

Sendang Gile Waterfall is located in Senaru Village, Bayan District, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This waterfall is within the area of Mount Rinjani National Park. This is because this waterfall is the entrance of climbing to Mount Rinjani. It turns out the water in Sendang Gile is cold and natural because it comes from the spring on Mount Rinjani. To get to this place, you have to go through two hundreds of stairs that reach of height of 40 meters, and bridge perforated through a valley that takes about 15 minutes. Characteristic of this waterfall is there are 2 levels of waterfall. Not only that, cool air and natural green scenery will welcome you here. 

2. Sipiso-piso Waterfall, North Sumatra

Sipiso-piso Waterfall is located in Karo District, North Sumatra. This waterfall is located in the hills with an altitude of about 800 mdpl and surrounded by pine forests. With a height of about 120 meters, Sipiso-piso Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia. You can go through the ridge to mingle with the beauty of Sipiso-piso Waterfall. You don't have to worry in tracing the ridge, because it has a ladder path for the tourist. The journey takes about 1 hour to reach the base of this waterfall. In the journey, do not forget to capture this beautiful moment by taking pictures with the background of Lake Toba. When you arriv at the bottom of the waterfall, look at the hills around the waterfall. With the green blend of lush pine trees and the sound of waterfalls, your mood and mind feel at ease and serene. 

3. Jogan Waterfall, Jogjakarta

Jogan Beach Waterfall is located on Jogan Beach about 200 meters from Siung Beach or in Purwodadi, Wonosari Gunung Kidul. This beach is unique because of its existence which is in coastal areas. Waterdall on the seashore is something rare in Indonesia, even in the world. This remind us with McWay Beach Waterfall in California. To be able to enjoy the splash of water from the top of the cliff, we have to go down. There are 2 ways to get there, first with canyoning, of course its required equipment and the ability to do it. Second, walk a wet slippery derivative. Fortunately there are wooden handles as a support body. Even so, caution is mandatory because the path is steep.

4. Moramo Waterfall, Southeast Sulawesi

Moramo Waterfall is located in the Tanjung Peropa Nature Reserve Area of Southeast Sulawesi and is a beautiful cascade with a height of about 100 meters. From that height, the water flows through seven main levels. In the addition, there are also 60 small levels that also severe as a reservoir of water. Out of so many ponds, only one can be used for swimming, the pool is located on the second level of the 7 main levels of the waterfall. According to the story that developed by locals, the place is believed to be the place of the angels who descended from heaven. This waterfall has a unique limestone area, which is where the water flows freely. With limestone rocks surrounding, you don't need to be afraid to climb because the walls are not slippery to climb.

2 Beautiful Beaches in Malang You Must Visit

Dear fellow traveler, are you planning visit Malang, East Java, this year? then you should put these 2 really beautiful beaches on your destination list! go check it out! ;)

1. Batu Bengkung Beach


Batu Bengkung Beach is located in the westernmost of the other beaches in South Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The beach facing west and facing the Indian Ocean presents a beautiful sunset sheen. The big waves that leave the water in the reef basin add to the beautiful scenery by forming a natural pool you could use as a place soak or swim. When the sea recedes, you can play sand or just sunbathing on the beach. Enjoying the sea view could be your favorite activity here, the blue waters of the Indian Ocean could hypnotize everyone who came. If you need a quite-calm place to relax, sea breeze here seems to lull us in the beach lined with trees. 



You can watch the twilight at the seaside. When the golden time arrives, the sea water of Batu Bengkung beach will recede so that the barricade of coral will look very clear. From this coral barricade, you can make a very good photo with an ocean background off and also the sun at golden time. Entrance ticket to this beach is quite cheap, it cost only Rp 5,000/person. To reach Batu Bengkung, you can go through the provincial road in Sumber Manjing, or South Malang bypass road. 



2. Ngudel Beach



Ngudel beach character is the same as the Indian Ocean beaches. The waves are big, so you will not be able to swim here. But you can still do fishing the sea fishes, and exploring the beach which is wide enough. The clean sand without garbage and is gentle to your feet will make you feel really comfortable walking aroung there. If there were no other visitors, you might feel like having a private beach for yourself. Don't forget to bring your camera and phone fully charged to take pictures here, you will bring home for sure great photos. This beach is quite often used for off road motor cycle event. 


Make a note that this beach is also suitable for camping. Not far from the shoreline there are trees that really nice for a shelter. So if you want to find a place to camp on the beach with beautiful atmosphere, you can go to Ngudel Beach. But you have to remember, because the waves is big, you're not allowed to swim here. Entrance ticket to this beach is quite cheap, it cost only Rp 15,000/person.
